What kind of floor do you have?

Select one of the options below to learn more

Concrete — Concrete is made up of a variety of aggregates mixed together – usually sand, gravel and/or crushed rock.  Once used only in basements, concrete is gaining in popularity in living spaces as well.

Over time, concrete needs to be cleaned and recoated just like other flooring options.  The Clean ReCoat process can be completed on an any interior concrete floor to provide a beautiful finish and some resistance to stains and abrasions.

VCT — Vinyl Composite Flooring (VCT) is commonly found in commercial settings, as in hospitals and schools.  These floors are composed of vinyl mixed with limestone and other fillers which make them more porous than other flooring options.  They are designed through a process called “flat compression” which limits its options in appearance and variation.

While VCT floors are durable over time, they require more frequent maintenance than LVT.  VCT flooring needs a regular schedule of cleaning and recoating, making Clean ReCoat’s ease and affordability the best option for this type of flooring.

Linoleum — Linoleum is aptly named after its main ingredient, linseed oil.  It is mixed with other natural ingredients like cork dust, wood flour, pine resin, and ground limestone.

This type of flooring comes in a wide variety of colors and patterns and maintains its vibrancy for many years since the pigmentation goes all the way through every layer of its composition.  Because of this, linoleum is durable and is more water resistant than other types of flooring, making it ideal for kitchens, bathrooms, and basements.

Since it is a softer product, linoleum needs to be cleaned and recoated frequently to ensure its water-resistance and stain proofing qualities.  Clean ReCoat is the only way to improve the look of these types of floors.

Next, choose the sheen you want.

*Satin

The satin sheen is the most popular finish for hardwood floors. This sheen has about 40% luster and is easy to keep clean. This level of luster disperses light and does not spotlight imperfections or dirt.

Semi-gloss

Semi-gloss has a slightly higher luster than satin. This means that more light will reflect on your floors. This sheen helps highlight the formal beauty of your wood floors.

Gloss

Gloss hardwood floors have the brightest luster to create an incredibly glossy look. The glossy sheen will reflect more light than a satin or semi-gloss finish, giving the floor an extra shiny appearance.

*Our customers choose this sheen option 80% of the time because its been popular for its aesthetic versatility for many years and will continue to be for many years into the future!
